We're keeping the guest list limited and unfortunately can't accommodations plus one's (unless we have formally stated otherwise). We hope you understand and would still love you to join us for our big day!

Soughton Hall operates a no smoking policy throughout all public areas, along with our bedrooms. Should we believe that guests have been smoking in the bedrooms or any other part of the hotel, a smoking fine of £250 will be charged for deep cleaning and they could also be asked to leave the premises. This includes you too Nainie.

To keep our celebration intimate, we are only able to accommodate children of family members.

For the ceremony itself, we are hoping to keep the space calm and intimate, so we kindly ask that children stop put for this portion. They will be warmly welcomed back to join the celebrations straight afterwards!

The ceremony will be a unplugged ceremony. Please reframe from using own phones and cameras during the ceremony. Siôn says "we have paid a lot of money for a very good photographer I don't want my photos to include your shit phone, thank you".

Black tie. Evening dresses and gowns. Siôn says "we want you to look fancy as fuck. No trainers".

Soughton has a no confetti policy- should confetti be thrown or used in the grounds a £200.00 clean up charge will be incurred, and must be settled before departure.

The RSVP Deadline is 30th May 2026 and respond via the website.

Yes car parking is available at the wedding venue.

11.30am - one hour before the ceremony begins.

Please note under no circumstances are guests allowed to bring their own beverages into the hotel’s public areas and function rooms.   Any alcohol found in the hotel that has not been purchased through the hotel will be disposed of. It is then at the managers discretion to ask the guest responsible to leave the premises should they deem it necessary. On occasions when guests have been asked to refrain from drinking their own alcohol and continue to do so the couple (newly wedds) will be accountable for a £500 penalty charge. Which the couple will make you pay.

You will be happy to know that the ceremony and most of the day will be indoors. Please remember to wrap up warm to come to the venue and for when the night ends at midnight.

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for, and we truly mean that. However, if you wish to give a contribution to our honeymoon that would mean the world to us. (Please note, Soughton Hall will be providing a Post Box to be on Entrance Hall table then moved to present table in marquee for wedding breakfast)
